Lets be perfectly clear, if anyone has turned America into a socialist state, it is not Obama. That job was successfully completed by our outgoing president Bush, the transparent failure of trickle down economics, the transparent failure of low tax on the top 5% and the transparent failure of no regulation that was supposed to "spur" our economy. Where were you five years ago when I was screaming "no" to my TV when interest only mortgages were being advertised every five minutes? Get a clue!

What a sad commentary. I will assume you have a reason. I'm sure that if he has personally hurt you in the past, he would ask your forgiveness as he is a wonderful Christian man. If he has not personally hurt you, I'll just pray for you. God bless the USA and its leadership team!

It is a shame that people like you would vote for McCain just because Hillary didn't get the nomination. Do you REALLY think McCain is better than Obama???? I too believed in Hillary, I still do, especially after last night's speech. Obama and Hillary are really not that different in position and issue. It looks like you need to get over it and actually vote your conscience instead of your broken heart.

I totally respect your right to feel how ever it is you feel and vote for whomever you choose. However, I don't understand how you could possibly support Hillary Clinton and vote for McCain.

For the people who say they will be voting for McCain rather than vote for Obama you cannot call yourself a Democrat. Instead you are nothing more than spoiled pouting children. Grow up and put your love of country before your love of self.
You will be the same people crying and complaining if McCain wins and thing get worse then they are today.

So I guess Mr Hadfield thinks that McSame is better than Barack? How so? Better health care policies? Better economic plans? If he'd take the time to look at where Hillary and Barack were on policy positions he'd actually notice that they're closer to each other than not. That only leaves one possibility as to why he won't vote for Obama. Sad to say that it looks as though it comes down to the race card. What a sad place to be in, sir.

Mr. Rick: apparently you were not voting for Clinton"s issues. You were voting only because she was a woman!!! Most all of Obama's issues are similar to Clintons, so apparently you are either a racist, an apparent Voter for McCain anyways, or a person that is just angry.

get over yourself. I don't believe you are really a democrat. I think you are a republican troll. If you really are a democrat and can't bring yourself to vote for the Democratic Nominee, then just don't vote.

Can you tell me why exactly you would use your vote to make America WORSE than it already is!
God Bless America....but America needs to BLESS GOD!
just my opinion.

Speaking of our country being in bad shape, your right. Now you want Obama to step in and change that? Good Luck! A man with no experience in any of the problems this country has, and who flip flops on everything he says. I dont even know what the truth is from him anymore. Vote McCain we need action, not hope!

It never ceases to amaze me how often people will vote against their own self-interest...sad indeed and an illustration of how immature and ignorant, vindictive and malicious such people can be. Don't bother to vote at all, for your vote is given with malice in your heart. So don't waste what so many have sacrificed and died for and so many people around the world long for: the right to vote.
You and those like you are a pathetic group of people.

Rick you should be ashamed of youself. If you want to go vote for Mcain then you are a repuglican and there is only one good repuglican - a dead one, and you shld die too , m@!$%#

What a ridiculous statement! All of you who were Clinton supporters who are now threatening to vote for McCain have you thought about how you will hurt the country? That by voting McCain you are essentially voting another GWB in office? If you can't vote responsibly and you can't make an educated decision then don't vote at all. Leave the voting to those of us who do our homework and know what the candidates really stand for. By the way, I'm a woman and as much as I like Hillary and I intended to vote for her if she were nominated I certainly won't turn around and vote for Casper the unfriendly McCain! I'm really interested to know if the people who don't like Obama is it a race thing? Also, people keep throwing out that he is inexperienced, have any of you considered that that might be a good thing? He hasn't been around long enough to get corrupt by big oil, etc. That is a good thing. Less hands in his pockets and his in others. Life long politicians ALWAYS have an agenda.

I'm sorry for your loss. However, I don't see how exhibiting a child-like"if you don't play ball my way, I'm going to take my ball and play for the opposing team" behavior is doing anything but showing a side of you that is not flattering. If you liked the last 8 years and want 4 more of the same, why did you vote for Hillary in the first place? It makes no sense whatsoever.....this is all about being bitter and nothing more. That is just sad.

Rick you suck, just like Bush & McCain.

Rick is totally insane. What drugs are you on?! To say you would vote for McCain over Obama when you initially sided with Clinton reflects what an immature, naive person you are. Because your person, Clinton, did not make it you are going to vote against your self interests and support another 4 years of a person very similar to Bush!?! Get a clue. People like you bring out the worse in this country. You are an embarrassment to this country.

I was a very strong Hillary supporter from the get-go. However, I now support Barak Obama whole-heartedly. Why? Because as far as the issues go, they're two peas in a pod.
I took a test back during the primaries on which candidate agreed with me most on the issues. Not surprising, it came out HRC. Then, just for fun, I took it again. I must have changed one answer because the answer came back BHO!
As far as I'm concerned, the issues are the important thing. Which candidate backs the issues that Hillary thinks are important? I guarantee it's not John McCain.
Seems to me that voting against Obama just because our girl didn't win is throwing the baby out with the bath water; sour grapes; cutting off your nose to spite your face and other similar cliches. :-)

Rick, I, too was all out for Clinton. I think she would have made a GREAT President, however, she is no longer the candidate for the Democratic Party and we must ban together now. I think the media is making too much of this. We cannot continue the path which Bush has taken us on and McCain will do just that. We must think of our nation and all the people's lives this will affect. If you were happy with the increasingly high costs of living, sending young people to fight a war in which we had no business entering into, giving the oil companies ways to increase their profits, and ways to help energize the wealthy people of this country then McCain is your man, but if you're looking towards improving our health care system, finding ways to cut our dependence on other countries for oil, and lifting the hopes of many young people who are trying to achieve by helping them receive a college education, etc. etc. etc., then don't give away your vote to a losing cause. VOTE OBAMA AND GIVE HIM THE SUPPORT HE NEEDS TO BRING HOPE BACK TO THIS COUNTRY!

It makes absolutely no sense to waste a vote on John McCain since his agenda is the polar opposite of everything that Hillary Clinton and the Democrats have worked for over the past three decades.
Not voting for Barack Obama is the ultimate act of a lack of patriotism because he is the nation's only hope in repairing the substantial damage done by the Bush regime.
